A Quick Fix
Reinforced toes with open toe shoes do not look good. The toe seam is just a very narrow serged seam. A simple alteration will solve this.

A Simple Zig Zag Stitch
Turn the leg inside out and start stitching in the middle to the end. Zig zag stitch 5 width and 1.5 length. Flip over and repeat to the other end, lapping over the first stitching in the middle. If you stitch end to end, the sheer fabric can get drawn into the throat plate. Leave long thread tails and knot to secure. I first tried the serger, but the sheer nylon kept snagging.

Trimming
Trim off the toe area just above the stitching. Turn right side out and you are done.

Seam is hidden
The new seam is hidden behind the toes. The small amount trimmed off does not affect the fit.

Tight Waistband Fix
Waistband too tight? Snip into it to make it more comfortable. Start with 2 snips in front and add 2 more in back if needed. No more muffin top!
